HILITE SERIES

Sonor Hilite drums achieve extra high projection with unique insulators that avoid sound absorption by providing no contact between metal parts and the wooden shell. The shells are 9-ply maple, cross-laminated with a thickness of 7.5 mm. The characteristics of these shells are a full and warm tone with precise attack.

Only the highest grade of select maple can deliver the volume and tone that make the unmistakable Sonor Hilite Sound.

Sonor Hilite Series has all the discriminating features of Hilite Exclusive, but are finished in brilliant chrome fittings. Sets come with Protec stands of lightweight material and silver-satin anodized finish. Drums are equipped with clear Sonor EP heads and are available in four lacquer finishes:

Black Diamond (BD) , Red Maple (RM) , Black (B) and Creme Lacquer (CL). Shell construction and tone are identical to Hilite Exclusive.

Snare Drums

9-ply shells with 7.5 mms thickness, cross laminated maple, lugs with rubber insulators (DGM pend.), snap-lock (pat.), throw-off snare release with snare adjustment knobs on both sides, 24 strand snares, ferro manganese steel rims, extra heavy steel rim for batter head ensures precise tuning and powerful rim shots.

Bass Drums

9-ply shells with 7.5 mms thickness, cross laminated maple, lugs with rubber insulators (DGM pend.). snap-lock (pat.), wooden rims for front and resonator heads, convertible rubber to metal spurs for rugged positioning on any type of floor, tom tom mounts with rubber insulators (pat. pend.).

Tom Toms

9-ply shells with 7.5 mms thickness, cross laminated maple, lugs with rubber insulators (DGM pend.). snap-lock (pat.), ferro manganese steel rims, shell mounts with rubber insulators (part. pent.).

Floor Toms

9-ply shells with 7.5 mms thickness, cross laminated maple, lugs with rubber insulators, snap-lock (pat.), ferro manganese steel rims, leg mounts with rubber insulators (pat, pend.) 3 height adjustable legs.
