There was this guy a while ago who payed good money to have some hardware and drum trim re-plated in copper,..when it came back to him, not only did they re-plate incorrectly but not completely.. boy was that guy pissed !! There was a few members on this site that needed a Sig badge, just so they can complete a added tom they bought, but it has no serial numbers and theirs does, or it has serial numbers and theirs don`t, then of course theirs the guy who has a kit with the same no numbers badge and buying this badge is golden opportunity, that`s the guy that will pay steep dollars for this badge, the other two ,..well if I had a sig with a missing or damaged badge...I`d know what the deal is !!

There will be someone who gives that price, and he knows it !! Badges are not like lugs or hoops, and for most, this is a steep buy for a sub-par item !!

If you wanna buy stuff on eBay, pay the price. If you want a deal, go straight to the source. He lists things on there for exposure that he couldn't get anywhere else. It costs to list there, and it costs to sell there, and then it costs to accept the damn money on top of the other costs. He'd rather sell direct. eBay is an expensive conduit to reach masses of people, and it works.

Bitch about it all you like, but it doesn't maker him a crook, and he doesn't make you buy anything. Go look for an obscure part for a rare car and see how many people out there are itching to invest the time and money to advertise it, just to sell it to you on the cheap.

I more than understand what you`re saying jules,..criticism comes with the territory and shouldn`t need defending, just notice. He`s not gonna loose alot of sleep over the criticism !! Ya take the good with the bad and roll with it !! Getting all worked up over critcism is normal but short lived !!

(My final post on this topic) Criticism doesn't offend me. I even interjected that I thought the price listed was high. My issue was solely with insults, name calling, and accusations. Criticism is one thing. This thread went beyond that, and I wanted to defend a man I thought was being misrepresented as well as try to shed some light on the backside of buying/selling Sonor parts.

Be well.

Used as an example of paying top dollar and getting what you asked for but it don`t match yours. Like the badge here, yes it`s a badge but does it match numbers or have them when yours don`t. I was pissed when you broke that news and I have no involvement whatsoever !! Yea they got copper plated but.... !!

If you can find any examples of me going beyond criticism to insults and name calling in the last few years, please PM or post a link. I owe that individual an apology.
