Just wondering about who has the rights on all the post from the menbers and maybe it's legal to copy them as "previous discussions" into the new site?
This way all the knowledge could be saved from getting lost and just the catalogue and other stuff must be re-done, even I think it's now possible to borrow most of that from the official Sonor homepage.
Think I said it before, but maybe there is someone able to make a "security backup" from this site before it is shut down?

Jules tried for a long time to acquire these things from Scott ahead of the end date with no luck. I had many discussions with Jules about a new museum, but because Scott would not even communicate it went no where.

So am I hearing that folks would be interested in a new site?
Right... still most of these catalogs are available, not all of them are watermarked, and some even came from members. It would be a "new" site... just thought we could snag the url when it expired. AND of course, if Scott was truly done with the museum, maybe we could eventually gain access to the old forum posts.

I think there are plenty of us that see a value in this site and even prefer it to what's out there.

Ultimately, it's quite possible it'll stay live beyond July 13th provided the Rev keeps it going... guess we'll see what happens.

Yeah I am going to wait and see. Best case it stays up. Worst case I am going to look into putting something else together as a replacement. I would like to see a knowledge base that is better organized and leverages other resource already found on the web like you tube and the various Facebook pages. Really not looking to compete with anything else but rather tie it all together.

I would also like to solicite ideas from the community of how they would like things to look and be organized.

Is anyone here still in contact with Scott/Rev?
Surely someone must be, can't we actually find out what he intends to do, or not to do as it may be?
Starting a new pages always an option.
However, if we don't know where to go b4 this place closes down, how are we all gonna find out? :|

I have issues, my daughter's name is Makassar Ebony.
Luckily for my son, my wife would NOT agree to the name 'Mahogany Veneer Phonic Plus'

I have tried in the past to contact Scott. I have a phone number, email and band web address. I did get a response on the band website email, until I asked to call directly to discuss a band gig possibly. No response after that.

I know others have tried, but seem to get the same sort of lack of any response.

I caught word from Julian (and verified) this morning - apparently Scott (or someone associated with him) renewed the domain name for another year.

If you do a WHOIS lookup, it shows the record was just updated on 2017-06-28, and is registered through 2018-07-13.
